With our flexible support designed to help people remain as independent as possible in their own homes.

Types of Support We Provide

QHCare offers a broad range of supports tailored to individual needs. These include:

    • Personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, toileting; more complex support such as catheter, stoma, or bowel management).
    • Medication administration and prescription-collection; pain management when needed.
    • Meal preparation, including adjustments for swallowing difficulties, working with speech & language therapy (SALT) where relevant.
    • Household chores (laundry, dishes, trash removal, gardening).
    • Running errands, shopping, prescription pick-ups.
  • Companionship and emotional support; spending time together, social outings, maintaining mental health.

 

    • Care is person-centred and bespoke: takes into account the type and severity of MS, personal routines, preferences, hobbies.
    • Options of visiting care or live-in care, depending on how much support is needed.
    • Respite care is available, for short-term periods (from a few days to weeks) to give relief to main carers or to try out how home care works.
