We offer nurse-led, specialist support for clients who need PEG-gastrostomy care, allowing people to live at home rather than in hospital. A home assessment is done to identify care needs, and carers are specially selected to match the person’s preferences and clinical requirements.
Our Care Components
- PEG Feeding Management: QHcare supports administration of feeds through the PEG tube (bolus or continuous) plus fluid intake.
- Tube & Stoma Maintenance: Care includes cleaning, monitoring the PEG site (the stoma), preventing infections, ensuring the tube remains secure and functioning.
- Hygiene & Clinical Oversight: Carers are trained and supervised by clinical/nursing teams to handle PEG-related tasks safely, including what to do in case of complications.
